- Seasonal cutbacks and tidying
- Agreed trimming and removal of unwanted growth
- Bed-edge cleanup and preparation for the next step
What shapes the estimate?
The amount and type of growth, bed area, access, removals, handling of debris, and disposal requirements affect the work.
Photographs help show the starting condition. Point out plants you value and any areas you would like left alone.
A cleanup has a defined finish.
Your written estimate identifies the areas, removals, cleanup, and disposal included. New planting, mulch, stone, and larger property repairs are separate additions when requested.
After the reset, discuss a maintenance plan to keep the beds cared for.
Spring and fall visits
Seasonal work can include clearing leaves and debris, removing spent annuals, and cutting back perennials where appropriate. For fall, discuss early preparation and a return after leaf drop. Each visit and its tasks should be stated in your estimate.
